BLUE WARS (苍蓝誓约) is a 3D RPG where you're the head of a team of anthropomorphic ships (sic) on their mission to save the world. An RPG with anime aesthetics and outstanding tech.
The development of BLUE WARS is similar to Kantai Collection and other video games: destroy enemy ships using your particular fleet which grows after you beat each level. The interesting thing about BLUE WARS is that battles couldn't be more spectacular: each attack you make is preceded by a fantastic 3D animation.
Sea battles are quite simple, but get more and more complicated as you progress: move your heroines across the ocean until you meet an enemy. Then move to a combat map where you eliminate your opponents before they do the same to you. It all depends on the weapons that your ships are equipped with, as well as their range.
BLUE WARS is noticeably inspired by RPGs. Raise your characters up level by level, provide them with equipment, improve their class, and then obtain new ones through the gacha system... Same old, same old, as per usual within this genre of games. What makes BLUE WARS different is that you can create rooms where your heroines rest and improve their attributes.
BLUE WARS is an excellent RPG that revamps Azur Lane with major improvements in each of its sections. The only downside is its excessive fanservice, but alas, that is increasingly more common in other similar games.
